After taking a little hiatus, it was high time I breathed new life into this online space. I’ve decided to keep it clean and simple, dividing it into two key components: the back-end and a headless front-end. I’m starting things off on a modest scale.
Back-end
For the back-end, I’ve chosen WordPress as my trusty CMS. Think of it as the reliable engine that powers this site, allowing me to hit the ground running. With all the basic features pre-configured, I can steer clear of wrestling with those outdated PHP templates for the front-end.
Front-end
As I mentioned earlier, the front-end is going fully headless. I’m crafting it using NextJS, and I’m planning to source most of my data directly from the WordPress back-end. This approach gives me the flexibility and creative freedom I need to design a user-friendly, cutting-edge front-end.
